Mr. Isaacs has 43 years' experience as an environmental professional. Nine years were collectively spent with two regulatory agencies, the State of Texas (Texas Air Control Board, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) and the U. S. Federal Government (Environmental Protection Agency). While at those two agencies, Mr. Isaacs was primarily responsible for air permitting reviews, state/government SIP liaison, point source air inspections, compliance auditing and enforcement, and performance testing. Subsequent to Mr. Isaacs's service with those regulatory agencies, he spent 34 years in the industrial sector, 12 years at the Gulf States Utilities Co. and 22 years at E.I. DuPont de Nemours, Inc. While at GSU and DuPont, Mr. Isaacs conducted and coordinated a wide range of environmental services in multimedia disciplines to include: Air, Water, and Waste permitting and licensing, compliance assessments and auditing, monitoring, recording keeping, and reporting, enforcement actions, public advocacy and hearings, and as such, is familiar with state and federal rules and regulations for air emissions, wastewater discharges, and solid and hazardous waste disposal.
